Terms & Conditions

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the participant, referred to henceforth as the “Rider(s)”,  acknowledges and accepts that they have read and understood the conditions of the tour/ event, and our full terms & conditions herewith. 

You must be 18 or older to enter. 

Riders must have a valid and appropriate motorcycle licence for the model and capacity of the machine (motorbike) they’re riding.

The machine (motorbike) needs to have a current WOF and registration; be in good working order with appropriate tyres for the tour per entry details. All bikes will need to pass scrutineering and Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees reserve the right to remove the rider from the tour at their own expense with no refund should their machine (motorbike) not be of adequate working order or in a safe state to ride.

Sufficient safety clothing and equipment suitable for this type of event or tour are required to be used at all times during the event or tour. This includes but is not limited to, gloves, helmet, jacket, pants, boots, eye protection - if appropriate. Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees reserve the right to refuse the rider participation in the tour if it deems any unsafe safety clothing and/or equipment is in use by the participant during the event / tour. The wearing of an approved motorcycle helmet is mandatory in New Zealand.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you declare and warrant that: you are in good health; mental and physical fitness to participate in this event / tour.

Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation if it deems the rider is affected or appears to be affected by alcohol or drugs at any time.

All participants are responsible for bringing adequate food, water and other sustenance for the duration of the ride. Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates can not guarantee that there will be access to these during the duration of the ride. 

The rider understands the requirements, and conditions of adventure and / or off road riding, and is aware that the tour, and its activities involve the risk of personal injury and damage or loss of property. In consideration of the benefits to be derived from participation in the tour / event, the rider voluntarily accepts all risks of personal injury and property damage arising from participation on the tour / event.

The rider must be aware that traffic, road, weather, and other conditions, as well as other motorcyclists can change the inherent risk of enjoying this sport.

Riders understand and fully accept those risks and are solely responsible for keeping their motorcycle under control, selecting an appropriate speed and adhering to New Zealand laws.

As a rider you are solely responsible for your choice of riding style and speed. 

Riders; next of kin, their heirs, successors and assignees agree to release, indemnify and hold, Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees harmless from any and all liabilities or claims directly or indirectly related to participation on a True Adventure tour. 

The staff and management of Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates take all practicable steps to identify and minimise potential dangers, however you must follow our instructions at all times. You must release or indemnify  Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees against any liability we incur to anyone else, resulting from your failure to follow our instructions.

Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees reserve the right to either before or during the tour:

• cancel or modify any routes within the tour or objectives set out in the itinerary; or
• substitute different or equivalent routes within the tour in place of cancelled or modified routes, or
• postpone, cancel or delay (either in relation to the departure or arrival times or the duration of the tour) any such aspect of the tour if, in the absolute discretion of Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates, it is necessary to do so due to inclement weather, snow or icy conditions or circumstances that are known to us and are otherwise likely to be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions.

In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, you acknowledge that you will have no right of refund of the tour price (whether in whole or in part) and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred by virtue of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement, or delay.

If you leave or fail to complete a tour for any reason you must make your own arrangements at your own expense. Any recovery or salvage expenses will be at your own expense. 

Speeding tickets, parking offences, speed camera fines etc. incurred by the rider will also be at your own expense.

Blue Wing Honda will collect personal information in order to conduct the event or tour. 

The participant / rider agrees that Blue Wing Honda may use this information for promotional or marketing purposes in the future, and agrees to allow Blue Wing Honda to use their name, likeness, image. and/or voice (including photographs and / or film recordings) in any media for an unlimited time. No remuneration will be paid for any use as stipulated.

Blue Wing Honda, Caspex Group and affiliates; its agents, dealers, contractors and employees reserves the right to evict any participant / rider at any stage of the tour or event for non-compliance of these terms, or for non-compliance of any instructions given throughout the tour or event. Under such circumstances, no refund of any fees will be made.
